A. andersoni is a predatory mite that can be used to control a range of mite pests. Their polyphagous nature allows them to feed on many arthropods, including thrips spider mites, broad mites, as well as pollen in the absence of an adequate pest food source. A. andersoni remain active under a wide temperature range (43-104ºF ) making them suitable for early season introductions as well as very hot conditions. Predators are available in hanging sachets, as well as mites on loose carrier. Continuous sachets strips are 327 feet in length, with 167 filled sachets per strip, and 6 strips per case.

- 1) Sachets: Sachets are a slow release, miniature breeding grounds and should be hung throughout the crop foliage. If possible, provide a little protection by hanging deep in the foliage to protect from direct light. Gemini sachets should be used in areas where sachet wetting from irrigation is likely. Sachets are viable for approximately 6 weeks.
2) Bottles with carrier: Before application, carefully rotate bottle to distribute mites throughout the vermiculite. Gently shake and disperse over foliage.
